Anyone have the recipe for a smiggy deluxe waffle sandwich?

make a waffle and put : Shaved Virginia Baked Ham,a thin slice of mild chedder,swiss or any melty cheese I have in the fridge,some thin apple slices. Put open faced under the broiler until cheese is melted. Put the lid on and dip in maple syrup(real syrup not flavored)


*for desert I would put Breyers Fried Icecream or Ben and Jerry's Cinnamon Buns icecream in the middle and top with whipped cream

Perfect Waffles





2 cups all purpose flour


1/2 tsp salt


4 tsp baking powder


1 Tbsp sugar


2 eggs


1 3/4 cups milk


1/2 cup salad oil


**optional--1 tsp vanilla extract





Mix dry ingredients. Add eggs and milk and whisk. Add oil and whisk to blend. Spoon onto hot oiled waffle iron.





I have been making this recipe for 30 years---I never buy mixes--this is just as easy to whip up. they come out toasty and crisp on the outside and fluffy on the inside.Anyone have the recipe for a smiggy deluxe waffle sandwich?
