Mother sent me a waffle iron and I'm not sure of a good recipe. I have been using a basic pancake batter..any others will be welcome.....happy waffling!!Nice waffle recipe please?

Ingredients :
Makes 12 waffles:
4 eggs
150g flour
150ml milk
250g light cr猫me fra卯che
50g butter
Recipe :
Break eggs into a bowl.
Add flour and milk.
Mix well until smooth.
Melt butter and add to mixture.
Leave to rest for an hour.
Add creme fraiche.
Flavour with lemon juice, orange water or alcohol, to taste.
Heat your waffle maker and cook each waffle for 3 minutes.Nice waffle recipe please?
Gingerbread Waffles
3 eggs separated
1 cup skim milk
1/2 cup dark molasses
1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1 3/4 cups flour
4 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt (optional)
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon ginger
1/4 teaspoon cloves
1 stick butter melted
Beat egg yolks with whisk and add milk, molasses and brown sugar. In
separate bowl sift flour, baking powder and spices. Add liquid
ingredients to dry along with melted butter. Beat egg whites until
they form stiff peaks and fold into batter. Bake in a hot waffle iron

Pound Cake Waffles
Ingredients
2/3 cup shortening
1 cup granulated sugar
4 eggs, separated
1/4 cup milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour, sifted
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 1/4 tablespoons Baking Powder
Instructions
Preheat waffle iron. Cream shortening and sugar until light, add well-beaten egg yokls, milk, and vanilla. Sift together flour, salt, and Clabber Girl Baking Powder. Add to liquid batter and gently fold in stiffly beaten egg whites.
Cook according to your waffle iron instructions.
Makes 6 four-section waffles.
basic waffle mix
