Why does my waffle recipe......?

call for oil? I found a new recipe for waffles and it calls for oil. Do I really need it in the waffles? Will it change them if I omit the oil? Thanks in advance.Why does my waffle recipe......?
just the opposite of moist. the oil will make a crisper waffle. you could omit the oil but your waffles will be more like pancakes. another alternative is to stir in melted butter(not too hot) the not only make it crisper but also more buttery.Why does my waffle recipe......?
If the recipe calls for oil, then that's what you add. Follow the recipe to a T %26amp; enjoy.
Oil = EW!

Instead use a pint of Bleach
maybe for a moister waffle.
