Here's a good one that makes a soft, fluffy inside. Takes a little more work to separate and beat the egg whites, but try it out:

2 Cups flour

2 Teaspoons baking powder

1-1/2 Teaspoons baking soda

1/8 Teaspoon salt

3 Eggs, separated

1 Tablespoon melted margarine

2 Cups cold milk

Sift flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt together. Set aside.

Separate eggs and beat yolks. Gradually add milk and melted margarine, stirring well. Stir in flour mixture

Beat egg whites until stiff and fold into mixture.

Bake as usual on your waffle iron.
