Can i use butter flavored crisco instead of butter in a waffle recipe?

whoops i hope so....Can i use butter flavored crisco instead of butter in a waffle recipe?
Yes, but wouldn't it be better just to hook up an IV bag of elmers glue? Butter although not the healthiest thing to be eating, is at least a natural product relatively speaking - the human body has some idea what to do with it. Butter flavored crisco is a highly processed amalgamation of artificial and natural garbage that, although won't kill you today, it is so much worse for you than butter. Can i use butter flavored crisco instead of butter in a waffle recipe?
Crisco, in general has a higher melting point than butter. Meaning it turns to liquid at a hotter temperature than butter. It may be ok to make the substitution since it is the fat in your waffle recipe. I've also used vegetable oil and bacon grease for waffles and they've all turned out ok but not as nice as using butter.
yes, it's practically just margarine, their might be a little more fat in it, but i think it should turn out alright
