Whats the best waffle recipe?

I absolutely love waffles but can't seem to make them crisp or taste like restaurant quality. Please helpWhats the best waffle recipe?
adding the oil is the secret to nice crispy waffles. For a fun and tasty surprise, pour some batter in the waffle maker, lay down a couple of slices of crispy cooked bacon and pour more batter on top

Classic Belgian Waffles

2 cups cake flour

2 teaspoons baking powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

4 large eggs, separated

2 tablespoons sugar

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

2 cups milk

non-stick cooking spray

Preheat the waffle iron according to the manufacturer's instructions. In 1 medium bowl sift together flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside. In a second bowl use the wooden spoon to beat together the egg yolks and sugar until sugar is completely dissolved and eggs have turned a pale yellow. Add the vanilla extract, melted butter, and milk to the eggs and whisk to combine. Combine the egg-milk mixture with the flour mixture and whisk just until blended. Do not over mix. In third bowl, beat the egg whites with an electric mixer until soft peaks form, about 1 minute. Using the rubber spatula, gently fold the egg whites into the waffle batter. Do not overmix! Coat the waffle iron with non-stick cooking spray and pour enough batter in iron to just cover waffle grid. Close and cook as per manufacturer's instructions until golden brown, about 2 to 3 minutes. Serve immediately.

1/2 teaspoon baking powder

1/4 teaspoon baking soda

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 cup whole milk or buttermilk

1/2 cup vegetable oil

1 egg

1 1/2 teaspoons sugar

3/4 teaspoon vanilla extract

Butter and syrup, for serving

In a medium bowl, combine the flour, cornstarch, baking powder, baking soda, and salt; mix well. Add the milk, vegetable oil, egg, sugar and vanilla and mix well. Let the batter sit for 30 minutes.

-------------Whats the best waffle recipe?
Restaurant waffles are made with yeast and the batter is made overnight. Here is a simple recipe that could taste like a waffle but quick. Make sure your girdle iron is hot before using.

2 cup self-rising flour

3 tbsp sugar

2 eggs

1cup milk

1/4 cup oil

1tsp vanilla

Place your flour and sugar in a bowl. Add remaining ingredients and mix to combine. Don't over mix or it will be more cakey than crispy. Let sit until iron is hot
